WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The International Grants Specialist will primarily assist the vetting and workflow for the international grantmaking of the nonprofit team. This role will support Bright Funds’ international giving expansion to amplify the international funding recipients on our platform. The ideal candidate will be detail and process-oriented, comfortable communicating with donors and funding recipients, and independently driven, self-motivated, and self-reliant.

LOCATION:
This role can work remotely within the US.  WizeHive does not provide visa sponsorship at this time.


WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE:

  • Vetting/Validation Support
    • Conduct checks to assess risk in validation process and disbursement
    • Support process to conduct in-house validations
    • Support campaigns to onboard and disburse to organizations
    • Partner with International
  • Grantmaking Manager to identify ways to streamline and scale validation processes
    International Nonprofit Support
    • Respond to nonprofit email inquiries
    • Meet company goals for customer satisfaction
    • Assist with updating customer-facing help center
    • Ad hoc projects as they arise
  • Exception Case Handling Support
    • Research and reroute on-hold donations to international organizations
    • Research and reissue returned international wires/ACH payments
    • Manage all exception case email campaigns and follow up with donors and nonprofits
  • Database Support
    • Update client backend databases for international nonprofits, as needed
    • Assist with the international nonprofit registration process
    • Ad hoc projects as they arise

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit operations or client support role, preferred
  • Experience in the social good space (corporate social responsibility, sustainability, philanthropy, volunteerism, etc.)
  • Immaculate attention to detail (while not letting perfection get in the way of progress)
  • Outstanding ability to prioritize and organize
  • Superior interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Utmost respect for confidentiality
  • Experience with Slack, Google Suite, Zoom, Office Suite (preferred)

SALARY RANGE:

$65,000-$75,000
