Community Collaboration Award Nomination Form

Thank you for your interest in the 2012 Blackboard Catalyst Award program! You may nominate yourself, a peer or a team. Nominations may be made by Blackboard clients and Blackboard staff members. The deadline for submitting nomination is February 29, 2012. Winners will be notified in early May 2012.

Community Collaboration Award Description & Rubric

This award honors members of the Blackboard user community who go above and beyond the call of duty to support their fellow educators at institutions outside their own institution. This award recognizes those who share advice, insight, and best practices with others as they approach key challenges and opportunities in eLearning. Examples that demonstrate this achievement include:

  • Contributing and sharing effective practices, tutorials, presentations to the community
  • Learning and growing an active and outstanding Blackboard User Group or special interest group that spans multiple institutions
  • Encouraging collaboration and engaging community members on relevant and meaningful topics.

Measurements:

  1. Has this community collaboration effort included participants from institutions other than your own? How many other institutions have participated in this effort?
  2. Are there tools, presentations or other templates that your community has shared with other similar institutions? Where/how do you share them?
