What is WizeHive?
WizeHive is an online collaboration and organization tool for busy people. It helps you organize your life and those around you. WizeHive works by allowing you to share notes, ideas, messages, files and todo lists with your coworkers and friends in individual workspaces, yet also lets you see a global view of all your activities in one integrated screen.
WizeHive can be run from a browser but more importantly can be communicated with through any email program or mobile devices. We also have a small desktop application that can be downloaded for free and customized using our own API.
What can I do with WizeHive?
WizeHive can be used as a contact manager or CRM package. It can also be used to manage customers in a business for both sales and service activities. We also have people using it to run and manage a variety of projects. Given the flexible architecture you can customize data fields and pages to make WizeHive work the way YOU want to work.
Explain the WizeHive screen to me
Can I add or remove the tabs along the top and in the middle windows?
The larger tabs along the top of the screen represent workspaces. You can move them by dragging them back and forth. You can remove one by leaving that workspace, which you can do through the Manage Workspace link at the top of the screen. The smaller tabs in the middle of the screen (Recent Activities, Tasks, etc.) represent different areas of data within WizeHive. You can also drag them around to put them in the order you like, but the screens displayed within a Workspace can only be modified (added or removed) by an administrator for that Workspace.
How often is my data backed up?
Data is backed up nightly and to multiple locations.
Can I export my data out of WizeHive?
It is your data and you have all rights to your data. You will be able to export all of your data by end of Q1 2009.
Is my data secure?
Very. Your data is stored in a highly secured environment. The servers are in locked area with digital security video surveillance as well as a Biometric security system. To assure continuity the servers infrastructure includes multiple UPS backup units in addition to multiple generators.
